GICLEE´ PRINTS Gicleé (pronounced Jee-clay) is French for "the spraying of ink." Original art is digitally photographed and skilfully printed using an Iris printer with pigmented inks. These inks have been tested to be permanent up to 100 years. My gicleé prints are printed on heavy 100% acid free rag paper at the same size as the original. The prints are so good, I have had people afraid to touch them, thinking they would smear the pastel! Unframed prints are matted with archival mat board and in a protective plastic pouch. All images are signed and numbered by the artist and a certificate of authorisation accompanies each print. My prints are available at the Mistlin Art Gallery in Modesto, CA.
