Atlas Place: Atlas GIS For DOS Resources

Atlas GIS For DOS remains a powerful adjunct to the Windows version, and there are some very valuable scripts that ship with the product. Our favorite is GRIDCELL, which we use to create the underlying page grid for books of maps, e.g. health care provider networks for a state, county or region. Here are two scripts that did not ship with the product, and a set of updated graphics and peripheral drivers.

John Mackenzie, Rodolfo V. Tanjuakio and John L. Sparco of the Department of Food & Resource Economics at the University of Delaware have put together a terrific online textbook covering Atlas GIS for DOS. If you are like many legacy users and still have a place for Atlas GIS for DOS on your GIS toolbelt, you'll want to see this work.
