| Lighting Designer Shane Rowse began his theatrical career in 1984 doing summerstock at the Des Moines Metro Opera. After graduating from Simpson College in 1988 he moved to Kansas City and began working as a freelance designer, electrician and stagehand. His resume' of design work lists more than 100 shows, including numerous productions at the Unicorn Theatre, A Christmas Carol at the Missouri Rep, and several shows at First Stage Milwaukee. Currently, he is the Technical Director and Resident Lighting Designer at the American Heartland Theatre, where he has designed lighting for over 50 shows.
