This Total Conversion has been around for almost 3 years now (and it's still not done!)  Here's a look at what it used to be like.
 

The Beginning (Quake1 3rd person perspective):


During this period the TC was going to be 3rd person perspective and be very similar to CastleVania 2, like an adventure/RPG.  I had a whole town complete with townspeople that talked.  I also had day & night changing and snow effects.
 
 

A New Direction (Quake2 development):


When Quake2 came out I decided to convert the TC over to it, but still keep the Q1 version.  With Q2 I was able to create a better display meter, but that's about it.  It was too much work doing both versions so I dropped this one before a demo version even got out. Check out Blood Thirst to see something even cooler.
 

A Return to Quake1:


With just Q1 to worry about I was able to make better progress.  With the Artificial Intelligence skills I picked up working on the Stool Pigeon, I started work on making Bosses.
 

What its Like Now:

I changed it to a side-scroller to keep it more like the original NES versions.  It is very similar to CastleVania 1 and 2 for the NES now.  If enough people still want to check out the old 3rd person perspective version, I might post it back up, but it will be "as is".
