Attack on Vietnam memorial called 'between
vandalism and terrorism' (EXCERPT) THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
KENNEWICK -- Someone purposely drove a vehicle through
a metal fence into a Vietnam War memorial, knocking over the granite marker and bending a flagpole, police said.
It
was the second attack on a community landmark within the past five months. Kennewick's Playground of Dreams was torched
in late November, but the community has pledged to rebuild it.
An emotional Bobby Dale of Finley, a Vietnam veteran
who helped build the memorial in 1986, called the latest incident "something between vandalism and terrorism."
At
one point he crouched near the memorial with his hands over his face.

I was just doing some reading online and I came across another
website for indymedia but this one is in nearby Santa Barbara County www.sbindymedia.org so it appears that this group is nationwide and growing. I just read that SB City College will
not be allowing Armed Forces Career Day on Campus starting in 2005. Protesters had words and were yelling obscenities....
with a couple Soldiers that were there to talk about their military experiences.
I still can't believe how ignorant
these people are ....they just don't get it. http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2004/04/286815.shtml#117404 Here is the link to the first threat of infiltration by anti war pigs
who want to send our troops things that may harm them. http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2004/04/286815.shtml#117404 There have been others and they are now targeting support groups that
do not screen members or have open lists available to all members. Look out for new members who are too eager to join
or too helpful. You might want to password protect your list and members have to get the password from you. Something like
that means you know who is looking at it. Really you just have to be careful since the nutbars want to make some attempt
to use us to get to our own troops. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's a recent attack in Boston.
Why do anti-war protestors attack veterans, who serve America honorably?
