In the Spring of 1996, under an Internship Learning Contract, sponsored by Rita Pougiales and Supervised
by Mary Craven, I was introduced to and began the Clothesline Project at the Evergreen State College.
Since the Clothesline Project began at Evergreen, it is estimated that nearly two hundred people have contributed
to this public display on this campus.
