The Transfused, a full length rock opera in the tradition of "Jesus Christ Superstar" and The Who's "Tommy," debuted July 2000 at the historic Capitol Theater in Olympia, Washington. The Transfused has appealled to punks, activists, queers, and music and theater lovers of all kinds, using the full theatrical experience to entertain and enthrall while simultaneously experimenting with concepts of gender, (dis)ability, disease, addiction, community, social change, compassion and humanity.
