I have been researching my Mother's surname of Hackstock for many years starting the research in 1997. Although I had to put it down because of my work commitments I am now actively researching her family & direct line again in 2008. In the past I have researched all Hackstock families from Kacsfalu, Gyorkony, Bikacs & Agfalva. I am now researching other towns in Hungary & Austria to try to further my Grandfather's direct line. My Grandfather, Matthias Hackstock was born in Kacsfalu, Hungary on 28 April 1883. He married Emilie Stebel (Chmiel) on 2 October 1915 in Detroit, Michigan. He died in Reese, Michigan on 10 February 1934. I will update this page & add more at another time.
