3 Dimensional Things

2007 - I made this doorbell using polymer clay. |

 |
It's a 3D object. The wine bottles are cardboard and the cork tops are real. They are suspended over the canvas on one inch long tiny springs. They can wobble back and forth much like those little animals people put on the dashboards of cars. It's currently hanging above my wine rack. |

2008 - This skyline created with cigarette lighters and other household materials was started in the mid 1980's and is still being added to today. |

2002 - This was a very old statue that I cleaned up and painted. I painted around the chipped and cracked pieces to make it appear to have the original paint on it. It stands about 20" tall. |
| DNA is made up of three different diameter lucite disks that I glued together. The main part of the sculpture is separated from the base by a short piece of steel rod so that the whole thing swivels. You should have seen the scaffolding while I was building it! I made it during the OJ trial and that's what inspired the name. |  |

My tennis ball pyramid hasn't gotten much larger lately, but in the past, everytime I opened a new can of balls to play, I glued the old balls in place. The pyramid was formed 3 balls at a time over a period of 10 years. |
| 2001 - It's a cross between a soccer ball and a mirror ball. Each CD surface is 3 CD's glued together. It weighs almost 4 pounds. |  |
