High Profile, High Sound Refracting Dupont Lucite Covers in Translucent Black. Constructed on the theory that Sound, Tone
and Volume of the Chromatic are functions of the size of the area between the covers and the reed plates and the material
properties of the covers.
A new Mouthpiece and Slider Design. A precisioned machined Mouthpiece is more reliable in securing an accurate flow of air
without leakage. Our mouthpieces are hand machined with accurate slotting and a "U" channel built in.
Gold or Silvef Plated Reed Plates. We are using standard model 270 Hohner reed plates for this instrument
because first of all they have a history. A history of reliability for over 80 years. They have been the mainstay of professionals
the world over It is our opinion that the 270 are the best commercially available reed plates. We do make one important addition
however. We Gold or Silver Plate the reed plates to provide corrosion resistance and a closer tolerance between reed and reed
slot. This is standard for all our custom instruments. The choice of Gold or Silver is the clients.
