Congratulations to Don Peterson of Kerby who won this year's T-28 Raffle Plane. Don was elated when he received the call and said that he had never won anything. He bought his winning ticket at our static display in Cave Junction on Labor Day.

The plane was delivered in the Wal Mart parking lot and Don and his son, Jared were at the field on Sunday 10/11 getting it in the air. Both have simulator and heli experience and got in a bunch of flights under ideal conditions.

Air Show -- 2009

A clear sky and more tolerable winds welcomed guests as they arrived at Josephine Skypark. The RVF pilots provided a spectrum of aircraft and flying. Streamer chasing, egg drops and balloon busts added to the range of entertainment. And the morning concluded with a spectacular demonstration of precision flying by Mark Tobin and Alex Stephens.

Thanks to Jack Medina, Terry O'Dell and Donn Withers for this great collection of photos.

The early crew brushed the dew off the field at 7:00 a.m. Willing hands soon had canopies, chairs and safety tape in place.

Thanks to Neal

After all is said and done. People want to see airplanes in the air, not on the ground.
