Color Monitor Setup

Images are best viewed at 800x600 with a properly adjusted monitor!




First, set Window to Full Screen, Monitor Contrast to Max.
0 - Use this to adjust Monitor Brightness.
MRGB - Use to set Gamma (if available)   Adjust so that   center = border.




Set the Monitor to Maximum contrast.
Adjust the Brightness so that the center of the large dark [0] square
is still visible while the diagonal split becomes indistinguishable.
If Gamma adjustments are available, use them to make the brightness
of the center of the Monochrome [M] square the same as the surrounding area.
If independent Gamma adjustments are available,
adjust each of the Red, Green and Blue centers the same as the surrounding areas.
Squinting while adjusting gamma may make the job a little easier.
The center dark square of [ 0 ] should be distinguishable from its outer square,
The center white square of [ 1 ] should be distinguishable from its outer square,
The center squares of M, R, G, B should approximate the brightness of their outer squares.
