WEEKEND OVERVIEW
Saturday
Five County Century
DATE & TIME: Saturday, November 14th, 8:00 a.m. The Five County Century is an (almost) annual event sponsored by the Los Angeles Wheelmen. It is a difficult, but very beautiful, century. This is a supported event for which a fee is charged and registration is required. AT THIS TIME, WE ARE TOLD REGISTRATION IS ALMOST FULL. If you are not registered, but are interested in this century, you should contact the chairpersons (see details). For details on this event, click on the Century button on the left.
Sunday Rides DATE & TIME: Sunday, November 15th, 8:30 a.m. Sierra Donuts is a donut shop in Sierra Madre and there was a time when Richard Wedeen and a few other members would do this ride to the shop every week. Those must be some mighty fine donuts to inspire such devotion. Today you get a chance to test them for yourself. (Actually, only the long and medium make it to the donut shop.) If donuts aren't your thing, there are alternate lunch sites nearby. So come on out and see what used to inspire so many of our members to mount up every week.
