DISTANCE: 58 miles and 2300 feet of elevation gain
While both the long and medium routes head to Yorba Linda and the World's Best Hamburger for lunch, this medium cuts off 12 more miles and skips some climbing -- most notably, Turnbull Canyon. At lunch the long and medium join up and follow the same route back. This includes a little climbing in the Anaheim Hills, but is otherwise a fairly easy return. Don't let the profile below scare you off -- it really exaggerates the steepness of the hills.
