Church Activities

We are members of the Los Altos United Methodist Church in Long Beach, part of the California-Pacific Annual Conference. Churches within our Annual Conference communicate with each other in several ways, including the Circuit West Newspaper. Our Associate Pastor, Rev. Dr. Jerry Larsen has an interesting Web Site and I have an alternate church site to try new things similar to the old LAUMC site.

Mary and I sing in the Chancel Choir and Mary plays in the Handbell Choir. She was the previous director of the Handbell Choir and a member of AGEHR. I am active in the United Methodist Men's group and Mary in the United Methodist Women's group.

We both serve on several Boards and Committees. I have been working with a group to design the Web Page, linked above,for our church. It is not at professional as the one of our neighbor, the First United Methodist Church of Huntington Beach, CA..
