Part One: Target

Each of the three weapons, Foil, Epee and Sabre, have different target areas on the body. The differences lead to changes in the on-guard position, tactics and strategy. For example, in the foil on-guard, the blade is angled upwards at a sharper angle than in the epee on guard. We'll discuss why later.
