I'm a diligent writer.  My output averages between 1,000 and 1,200 words per day.

Rob Shelsky was born in Texas, raised in Massachusetts, Australia, and California.  He attended Southwestern College, the University of Victoria, B.C., Canada, and San Diego State University.  His background is in science and technical writing.  He has had stories published at Gateway SF, Alien Skin Magazine, Continnum Science Fiction Magazine, Fifth Di... Magazine, Aberrant Dreams Magazine, etc.  His first time-travel romance, A Confederate Yankee in Annabelle's Court, was accepted by Uncial Press, and is due out in April 2007.  He also has written for the Internet Review of Science Fiction, Neometropolis, Midnight Street (articles) and currently is a bimonthly columnist for Alien Skin Magazine (articles on how to write science fiction).  He has a story with the current edition of Aberrant Dreams Magazine, entitled, Bradbury County, and has had a prior story with them, entitled, Without Omens.  The current edition of Aberrant Dreams has an interview with Rob, entitled, Eye on Rob Shelsky.  Also, and this he is very happy about, he has placed four consecutive times in the L. Ron Hubbard Science Fiction Writers of the Future Contest, for the last quarter 2003 and the first three quarters of 2004.  Finally, Rob's time travel romance novel, Lost Echoes, is coming out December 29, 2006, with Awestruck E-Books.  One of Rob's favorite pastimes, besides being a real estate broker, is sipping a glass of wine and watching the sunset over the mountains in North Carolina.
