It was a dull fall day, while people in Snow Valley, New Jersey scurried about their business typing together loose knots in an assimilated environment that favored hemp twine, but hung close to values nylon and vindictive.  I should have seen it coming five years ago when the Atlantix Tri-State Authorities instated the N-Force Supervisors in the schools and government agencies, whose soul purpose was to psycho-analyze, for anthropological purposes, the present condition of these morally and economically decaying United States of America.  This was the year 2059, just over two millennium hence from Christ's birth on this fragile planet called Earth.

The Atlantix Organization appeared on the scene out of the void a desperate nation lapsing downward from its brief Golden Age that lasted one century, that was the Twentieth.  This organization was immense and cumbersome, it refused public or governmental funding, while providing New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut with billions of denari-dollars in social services, in helping the impoverished and unskilled laborers better themselves by allowing people to help themselves through educational grants, drug rehabilitation, psychotherapy, and sheltering.  The Federal Government fell short of its obligations, due to the stringent application of Grahmm-Rudman II, which made budget-deficits illegal in 1990 under Grahmm-Rudman I, which finally failed under the first law mandate after 11years, then being re-implemented in 2045, at a time, when eighty percent of federal revenue was allocated to military defense, such as the Star Wars Space Defense System, overseas narcotic plant eradication, border-patrols to keep out communist insurgents and illegal aliens, massive ecological hybrid pest extermination campaigns against such insects as Ortega Army Ants, Killer Bees, Formosan Termites, Giant Scorpion-Hornet colonies and nations, not to forget the dreaded GMO-Marijuana Vines that risked smothering     all cerebral-vegetation, turning innocent youth into One World Follower Zoombies.  This cannabis strain patented by Guru Dinglestein grew wild within the United States North American’s own perimeter.  It was a pesty herb with green, violet, and orange pointy cannabis multi-leaved sheaves that afflicted the countryside and suburbia, popping up like thistle and crabgrass. The most lethal herbicide Paraquat X-8 not only failed to eradicate it, but genetically triggered its GMO-mechinism to enter into full fertility phase, producing 1 kilogram buds of the highest THC content the world had ever known, confirmed by Cannabis Cup Judges in Amsterdam!

The hippy movement regained full popularity in the 2050’s, due to this psychodelic herb, which society was forced to legalize and market along with cigarettes, simply to gain the potential tax income, but foregoing the mental and physical health detrimental costs to society, still uncaring and not providing universal health care to their citizens, nor promoting access to cannabis rehabilitation centers.  American society had become numb, self-medicating themselves with recreational cannabis, legal designer drugs, as well as trashy music and their accompanying demoralizing videos and dosing themselves with subscription t.v. with an average viewer watching 3-5 hours a day of mostly merde.  What began in 1990’s America with the onset of Genetically Modified Food Diets, with a sprinkle of herbicides and pesticides, flourished and grew during the following decade of the Iraq War, with a non-chalante, selfish, consumer-devouring, debt-accummulating populus that was inner-focused on self-pleasure, pornography, obtaining status symbols and wealth.  The United States was for the typical American the center of world, and other nations were obscure, primitive, and less important and less great than one’s own little fragile cosmic universe called America.   Finally, in the 2050’s, we the North Americans were beginning to reap the wrath of our moral sins and selfish non-culture ways.  For as the Roman Empire, collapsed, faded away, and finally died in obscurity, being conquered and dived-up in smaller kingdoms with fiefdoms within each, being a self-shattering empire completely oblivious to present realities.  So would also be our fate, but accomplished by the enemy within us, the devil of anti-humanism and selfish greed. 

The emergence of Flower power,  Grunge Pseudo Counter- Culture, consumer junkies, and an un-culture of humanity and American Society left a void to be filled by a society lacking direction, guidance, and a hand of grace.  So emerged the organization which had spread just like fascism had done following World War One, but with a difference, Atlantix promoted pure un-adulterated humanism and goodwill towards your global neighbors, and bestowed its reach across tangeants of this pathetic suffering planet. Atlantix was indeed a blessing, it took-over the Great Society vision that Lyndon B. Johnson had wanted in 1964.  Business Leaders and Politicians praised Atlantix, not questioning their ulterior motives, or how they were funded, just as long the economy continued to thrive, and prosper, after the finale of Vietnam War II in 2047.  Some believed, that these good Samaritans, dressed in blue-leather jumpsuits, with silver ranking military stripes on their shoulders, were aliens, perhaps the cosmic-hereditary creatures that spawned the human race ten thousand years ago, explaining the "Missing Link Theory"  Or, they were human guardian angels, financed from the collaborated funds of past tycoons, such as the Tufutties, Plasmastics, and the Silicoids, along with the deposed monarchies of the Sharkiz's and Guru Dinglestein of Ireland, whose funds were never located, after their initial reigns ended.
