Submitted on 3/30/2005 9:20:36 AM:   I'm working on an HP Pavillion PC for a customer who just recently purchased it. I did a fresh restore hoping to erradicate the damage done by her kid's disney games. I couldn't believe all the crap on the desktop after a fresh restore. This is ridiculous. They should pay you to have thier machines just because they're such advertising portals. I'd never buy an HP product based on this experience. I'm going to try and get a XP windows home disc and manually install it so there's none of this lingering spyware and adware on it. Good luck to you.
