Music Appreciation for Very Young Children

Recent research has shown clearly the beneficial effects of
music on the developing brain. This game is a way to introduce music appreciation
and understanding to preschool, even preliterate children. Designed to be
a child's earliest interactive musical experience, The AnimalBand teaches
how to listen actively and to identify the separate parts of a musical
composition. Once a child listens to the frog crank out a bass line, that
child will be forever attuned to the bass line in all music, whatever the
genre.
