As you can see from the dates on these examples, this series has occupied me almost from the time I began working with
the human figure. In fact, as of this writing (April, 2007), I'm working on more of them. I'm intrigued by the
way the flashlight beams abstract the body, transforming relationships among the various features. And of course,
it all becomes overwhelmingly sculptural, which is something I look for in figure photography.
