Retirement of LCDR Bundy in 1957,
we were in Long Beach harbor.
The picture of  the Chiefs was the side boys for his retirement.
The first Chief, from the left is Migette, MMC.
The 4th one is Partin ETC and the
5th one is Rinehart the CMAA.

DD-761 BUCK
In action the DD-761 BUCK and JOHN W THOMASON suffered considerable damage in a collision involving the two ships. The BUCK was ordered back to the west coast for repairs after a temporary bow was installed in Sasebo, Japan.
