Anna's birthplace is unknown. In the 1850 census of Lee County, Illinois, it is listed as New York; in the 1880 census of Lee County, Illinois, the listing for "Abram" Fuller indicates his mother's birthplace was New York; and in the 1880 census for Humboldt County, California, the listing for Champion Fuller indicates his mother was born in Connecticut. She died in June 1851 in Lee County, Illinois.

This family is believed to have removed from Pennsylvania to Ohio around 1829 and to Lee County, Illinois in 1836, where they were among the earliest settlers.

Children of Stephen Fuller and Anna Hamilton Pratt:

i. Silas Pratt Fuller, b. 8 December 1823 probably Pennsylvania; d. 21 December 1844, prob. Illinois

Abraham Fuller fought with the 46th Illinois Infantry, Company H, in the Civil War. He was unmarried as of the 1880 census, in which he listed with his father Stephen in Dixon, Lee County, Illinois. Stephen at that time was 83 years old and a retired farmer; "Abram" was 43 and his occupation listed as "works on farm."

Generation No. 8

10. CHAMPION FULLER, b. 21 January 1826 in Pennsylvania. He m. JULIA REYNOLDS prob. abt. 1870 in Humboldt Co, California. According to her death certificate (her son Theodore was the informant), she was born 15 April 1836 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and died 1 January 1917 in Dixon Twp., Lee County, Illinois. Champion died in 1914, Lee County, Illinois. They are both buried in Dixon.

Julia's parentage is somewhat uncertain, but her full name may have been Julia Worthington Reynolds. She may be a daughter of ELIJAH REYNOLDS and MARY WORTHINGTON, of Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania; Julia's death certificate indicates her mother's name was Mary Worthington, born in Harvey's Lake, Pennsylvania, and lists her father as "Reynolds," born in Pennsylvania. Julia is listed as a "servant" in the household of Stephen Fuller in the 1860 Lee County, Illinois federal census; she was 20 years old (which would conflict a little with the birth date listed on her gravestone) and was listed as having been born in Pennsylvania. However, she was likely known to the family, or even a cousin, as Stephen Fuller's siblings married into Worthington, Reynolds, and Bulkeley families in Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania.

Various Lee County, Illinois histories indicate Champion removed to California about 1864, where he remained until the early 1880s. He is known to have purchased land in Humboldt County in 1872 and again in 1878. The 1880 Humboldt County, California federal census lists Champion, age 54; wife Julia, age 40; son Theodore, age 9; and son Edward, age 6. At the time, the family was living in Eureka and Champion was a farmer.
