Lynn H. Whatley's Response to Fitting the Profile
Unfortunately, the information being given out in these articles is misleading and incomplete. Wayne Williams is being unjustly and unconstitutionally held for crimes he did not commit. Remember Williams was never stopped on the bridge, nor was he seen stopping, getting out of a car, no door movement, etc. The state withheld vast amounts of exculpatory, material evidence pertaining to state witnesses, who either lied or were totally biased and prejudiced in their testimony. The state withheld scientific report regarding the dog hairs found on victims. The expert reported that the dog hais being found were unique malemute and huskey. At trial those unique dog hairs changed to german shepard. Many of the fibers alleged to connect Williams to evidence from vehicles to specific victims was false. These vehicles were not in the possession of Williams at the time he was alleged to have been with these victims. The state never explains the presence of caucasian head and pubic hairs found on several victims's cases that were attributed to Williams.
