Garrison's Answer to "Why Don't You Vote"

Thanks for the response Lyle. It is encouraging to see interest in this subject matter. You might also be interested in visiting my site as listed below. At this point in time no State or Federal Government would approach "fining" the registered voters for *not* voting as intriguing as that sounds. However, it has been suggested that voter registration roles be purged of non-voting names and I would love to see a list published after each election of people who do not exercise their right (obligation) to vote.

Equally important is informed voting - now that's something you just can't legislate.
