Haiti 1896 5 cent. pair on cover

I would like to thank Carroll Lloyd, President of the Haiti Philatelic Society for the following information on the 1896 cover. "It is well that you included a blow-up of your 1898 cover backstamp since it helps to note that there are two cancels superimposed here. There is a light New York duplex cancel of July 28, 1898 with the attached handstamp reading PAID/H/ALL beneath the August 1, 1898 circular date stamp of Colorado Springs. The following dates show the movement of the cover: Departed 7/22/98 from PAP(face), arrived in Incoming Foreign Mail Section of NY Post Office on 7/28/98, arrived in Denver on 8/1/98(front) and finally in Colorado Springs on 8/1/98(back). A duplex device generally has a circular date stamp and a killer to cancel the stamp. They are physically attached to one another to expedite handling since dating and cancelling can be done with the same device. In this case the killer shows that the cover is fully paid and the H indicates the clerk or section in the NYPO that applied the mark."
