Science City Zero
Under the political smokescreen of the Red Scare of the fifties, Science City Zero was established as a medical testing grounds where science pushed the human body to its gruesome limits (as first shown in Issue 8). A "concentration camp for American dissidents," Science City Zero, much like Island Zero, generated some of the horrors that were aped by the sci-fi/horror movies of the time. The facility was run by Dr. Randall Dowling before The Four gained their awesome powers. Anna Hark was a supporter or patron of the facility, but what was her agenda in funding, or desiring to purchase, this research? Ambrose Chase is the child of one of the victims of Science City Zero, as was one John Black, seen in the Planetary/Batman crossover.
