Philosophy:
Patty is a documentarian specializing in community and spirit. She wants always to remember that the greatest joy she get is when she sees others being touched by her work. "When they laugh at what I thought was funny, when they gasp at a shot that I thought was cool or when they are brought to tears by the images and music. Expressing a moment through video is what I have found awakens my soul. I am so grateful to have found my bliss."

Biography:
Patty was born in a small town in northern Californian. She was an average student who liked art class and swimming. At 15, Patty's grandparents introduced her to photography while on a sailboat trip. Upon graduating high school, Patty's parents gave her a 35 mm camera to take with her to Oregon State University. It was during this time that Patty became enamored with the concept of music and photography. Patty began to develop music slideshows from the photos she took. Her last semester at college she took a beginning Apple Macintosh course and fell in love with the Mac. "I was born to edit," exclaims Patty. "I mean all those hours swimming back and forth in a pool you learn how to focus and concentrate". In 2002, she started her own business. In just two years, she has completed a documentary, a music video and numerous community film projects.
