Helicopter Resource Request

Darkness is expected to fall within 30 minutes.  The National Park Police helicopter Eagle One is equipped with FLIR and a NightSun.  It would require 45 minutes to prep and arrive.  100% of the search area is covered by a thick summertime canopy.  The pilot estimates a 1% POD for night time search and is not thrilled about flying in the mountains at night.  What do you want to do?
