In 1965 Chester and Clara Prusinski purchased the property and it became "Chet's Melody Lounge" The tavern is located
across from Resurrection Cemetery where Chicago's most famous ghost currently resides. Chet passed on a few
years ago, Clara retired to Florida for a few years but has recently returned to the area . The property is
currently still in the Prusinski family managed by Chet's son Rich and his wife Barbe.
Every year around Halloween, if you watch the Travel or some entertainment channels you will very likely see Chet's featured
in the stories associated with "Resurrection Mary" Chicagoland's most famous ghost. I suppose only Chet himself knows the
real truth about Resurrection Mary.
