William H Warren

William H Warren has an estimated birth date of 1839 in Beaufort County, North Carolina. He was the son of Alva D Warren and Mary 'Polly' Peed. He was recorded on the census of 1 June 1850 living in Beaufort County. He was enumerated as W H Warren age 11 in the household of Sarah E Peed. During the year 1861, William H Warren enlisted in Company G, 19th Regiment North Carolina Troops, to serve in the armies of the Confederacy during the War Between the States. Company G was known as the Star Boys. He married Clarisa Elizabeth 'Bettie' Fortiscue, daughter of Lewis Porter Fortiscue and Margaret Ann Russell, circa 1868 in North Carolina. His death was estimated to be 1879 in Hyde County, North Carolina.
