Most clients prefer the harp, both for the ceremony and the reception. Surprisingly enough, solo electroacoustic harp has proven very suitable for dinners and receptions. This is especially true when families cannot agree on a style of music -- these new compositions are enjoyed by people of all ages, cultures, religions, and races.
Banquets are an obvious time when soft, soothing background music is appropriate. At many conferences, either flute or harp has been effectively used to introduce large sessions. Music is a great way to call people back into the main room. Over a period of many years playing at numerous conferences, a large body of music has been developed which perfectly fits almost any conference situation.
Children respond well to this music. If arrangements are made in advance, a number of instruments can be brought on site to demonstrate cultures from various parts of the world. It is a memorable tie-in for geography lessons. Instruments in the collection, often demonstrated to schoolchildren, include: Irish Harp, Native American flutes, German flutes, Russian Balalaika, Chinese P'i P'a, Appalachian Dulcimer, and Spanish Guitar.

As a family, we do our best to keep a traditional Sabbath, within the constraints of our modern society. Since all of the music is a service to the Creator, there will be some performances on Friday night and during the day on Saturdays. During these performances, payments will normally not be asked for or accepted for contracts, agreements, or albums. Payments will be accepted either before or after the Sabbath. In some cases, members of the audience will be able to pick up albums and send payment later on an honor system.
This is a unique advertising opportunity which can also support great
music. It is very simple. Each album is mastered to CD specifications. It
costs about $3,000 to make 1,000 copies of a CD. This is economical compared
to most recording companies. So a business can underwrite the basic cost, in
return for a permanent advertisement on the back of the CD cover. This
generates goodwill, lets people know you support good music, and constantly
reminds my customers of your existence.
Concert tours, custom programs, and
many other services can be sponsored as well.
More details on this program
can be found in the FUTURE ALBUMS section. The
historical background and benefits of sponsorship are covered in greater detail
in the essay on Patronage on this web site.
