As we sailed along the Palmer
coast one evening, we passed about
40 or 50 whales--humpbacks and
minkes--feeding. The Captain
stopped the ship and we watched
for half an hour. Even the expedition
whale expert was impressed, for she
saw feeding behavior she had only
read about, but had never before
witnessed. |
