Our Interests
Willie's hobbies are:
Playing in the Garrett Community Concert Band, (see
www.garrettband.org),
garden club and wildflowers, travel, and all
kinds of computer stuff. She also continues to work in stained glass,
concentrating now on fused glass jewelry, which she sells at the Garrett County Arts Council
Gallery in downtown Oakland, MD Click here to see samples.
Ted's hobbies are:
Sailing, biking, and stamp collecting. He is active in the Property Owners'
Association, and is president and chief executive of Deep Creek Sailing School
www.deepcreeksailingschool.com.
He has been active in the Allegany Highlands Trail
committee, which has finally completed its bike trail from Pittsburgh to
Cumberland, Maryland and connecting to the C & O Canal trail continuing to
Washington, D.C.

Sailing
is Ted's favorite sport.
He sometimes enjoys a healthy
lead in races with
his fleet. His
biggest rival was #5316 though
others are also challenging
his
position in the Masters' Fleet. |

Ted
plans one week bike trips
each spring and fall for the
"Chain Gang". Here
they are
resting on a trip in Florida. |
