Aboard Ship

The lounge was a large
comfortable
room with a hospitality bar that was
open 24 hours a day. This was also
where we received lectures during
the two days each way that we were
crossing the Drake Passage. |

Expedition leader, Bjorn, was
always
cheerful. He and his staff gave lectures
on birds, mammals, penguins, ice, history,
sea life, geology, the Antarctic Treaty. The
ship was equipped
with the latest technology
to present
information. |
