After Graduating Art Center College of Design in 1985 Mike started his freelance business that continues to this day . He has worked with a huge list of clients through out the US with work ranging from highly finished work to fast shooting boards for commercial directors.

Mike spent 4 years in Micronesia on a small island in the south pacific called Ponepe now spelled Pohnpei. Where his dad taught high-school. Those were some incredible years spent in a tropical setting with no TV or telephones one radio station. Probably the reason he is a artist today since much of the island time was spent drawing and reading, when he wasn't diving off the reefs or running though the jungle.

Recently relocated to the Great Northwest back to his roots as a 6th generation Oregonian with his wife and boy/girl twins. Working from his studio in NW Portland and enjoying the spare time with his family exploring the mountains & pacific coast.
