As Morning breaks I think of you, O Lord, and my desire is to serve You joyfully. With gladness, I
consecrate this day to Your Sacred Heart, and offer whatever joys and sacrifices may come my way. Thank You for the graces
You will send - all the love, all the beauty, and the ways You will answer my prayers.
Today, may I love my enemies, and treat others as I would ask to be treated; may I forgive seventy-times-seven and show
mercy; may I welcome the prodigal, have compasion for the Samaritan; be a peace-maker and love my neighbor unconditionally.
Take all my heart, and mind and strength, O Lord, that this day may be truly lived for Your greater honor and glory and for
the salvation of souls. Amen.
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You all my prayers, works, and sufferings of
this day. For all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart. In union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world.
In reparation for all my sins. For the intentions of all our associates, and, in particular, for the intention of our Holy
Father for this month. Amen.
Hail, Mary! Full of grace, The Lord is with thee; Blessed are thou among women, And blessed
of the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners, Now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.
O my God, I place my trust and confidence in You, Who will reward the good and punish the wicked.
I believe in You and accept everything You have taught and revealed. I believe that in one God there are three Divine Persons-
God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I believe that God became Man without ceasing to be God. He is Jesus
Christ, my Lord and Savior, the Redeemer of human race. He died on the cross for my salvation and eternal happiness. O my
God, give me a strong faith. Help me to believe with lively faith. O my God, all-good and all merciful, I sincerely hope to
be saved. Help me to do all that is necessary to gaain eternal salvation. I have committed many sins in my life, but now I
turn away from them. I am sorry, truly sorry, for all of them, because I have offended You, my God, Who are all-good, all-perfect,
all-holy and all-merciful. I love You, O my God, with all my heart. Please forgive me for having offended You. I promise that,
with Your help, I will never offend You again. My God, have mercy on me. Amen.
Infinitely merciful Father, I offer You by the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary with St. Joseph,
the nine choirs of Angels and all the Saints, the adorations, praises, love and infinite holiness of Your beloved Son, Our
Lord Jesus Christ, His heart wounded and burning with love, all His blood shed for us, all His sacred wounds and in them my
life and sufferings af all people, for my salvation and for the salvation of the whole world, the deliverance of all souls
from Purgatory and the praise of Your merciful Father, I offer You the wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ for those in agony
today. Amen.
O Jesus, Divine Master, I thank and bless Your most merciful Heart for having given us Mary most holy
as our Mother, Teacher and Queen. From the cross You placed us all in her hands. You gave her a great heart, much wisdom and
immense power. May all mankind know her, pray for her! May all permit themselves to be led by her to You, the Savior of mankind!
I placed myself in her hands, as You placed Yourself. With this Mother I want to live now, in the hour of my death, and for
all eternity. Amen.
O most powerful Patriarch, Saint Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church which has always invoked you
in anxieties and tribulations; from the lofty seat of your glory lovingly regard the Catholic world. Let it move your paternal
heart to see the Mystical Spouse of Christ and His Vicar weakened by sorrow and persecuted by powerful enemies. We bessech
you, by the most bitter suffering you experienced on earth, to wipe away in mercy the tears of the revered Pontiff, to defend
and liberate him, and to intercede with the Giver of peace and charity, that every hostile power being overcome and every
error being destroyed, the whole Church may serve the God of all blessings in perfect liberty. Amen.
O Divine Child of Prague, and still the great omnipotent God, I implore through thy Most Holy Mother's
most powerful intercession and through the boundless mercy of Thy omnipotence as God, for a favorable answer to the intention
I so earnestly ask. O Divine Child of Prague, hear my prayer and grant my petition. Amen.
Be merciful to us, O my God, and reject not our prayers, when amid our afflictions, we call on Your
Name and seek with love and confidence Your adorable Face. Amen.
O Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of mercy, pray for me that I may be preserved this night all evil, whether
of body or soul. Dear St. Joseph, all the saints and angels, and especially you, my guardian angel and my chosen patron, watch
over me. I commend myself to your protection now and always. Amen.
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy. Hail our life, our sweetness and our hope! To you do we cry, poor
banished children of Eve! To do we send up our sighs; mourning and weeping in this vale of tears! Turn then, most gracious,
Advocate, Your eyes of mercy toward us; and after this our excile, show unto us the blessed of Your womb, Jesus! O Clement,
O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
Remember, O most gracious Virgi Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection,
implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to you O Virgin of
virgins, my mother. To you I come; before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my
petitions, but in your mercy, ear and answer me. Amen.
My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior; Because he has regarded the lowliness
of his handmaid; for, behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed; Because he who is mighty has done great things
for me, and holy is his name; And his mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear him. He has shown might with
his arm, he has scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and has
exalted the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty. He has given help to Israel,
his servant, mindful of his mercy- Even as he spoke to our fathers- to Abraham and his posterity forever.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are the meek, for they
shall posses the earth. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for justice, for they shall be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the clean of heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they
shall be called children of God. Blessed are they who suffer persecution for justice sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
Blessed are you who men reproach you, and persecute you, and speaking falsely, say all manner of evil against you, for my
sake.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is
injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And when there
is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to
be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, it is in dying that we
are born to eternal life.
Mary, mother of grace, Mother of mercy, Shield me from the enemy and receive me at the hour of my
death.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: As it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill my heart with Your Holy gifts. Let my weakness be penerated with Your strength
everyday that I may fulfill all the duties of my state conscientiouly, that I may do what is right and just. Let my charity
be such as to generous as to pardon sincerely any wrong done to me. Assist me, O Holy Spirit, in all my trials of life, enlighten
me in my ignorance, advise me in my doubts, strengthen me in my weakness, help me in my needs, protect me in temptations and
console me in afflictions. Graciously hear me, O Hol Spirit, and pour Your light into my heart, soul, and my mind. Assist
me to live a holy life and to grow in goodness and grace. Amen.
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with all its love, all its sufferings and
all its merits; To expiate all the sins I have committed this day, and duringall my life. Glory be to the Father... To purify
the good I have done in my poor way this day, and during all my life. Glory be to the Father... To make for the good I ought
to have done and that I have neglected this day and during all my life. Glory tbe to the Father and....Amen

persevere. Keep me from sin and strength my will by helping me to keep watch over my senses, may imagination, and my heart.
Help me to correct my faults which are the source of sin. I beg You to do this, O Jesus, through Mary, Your Immaculate Mother.
O Blessed Saint Joseph, faithful guardian and protector of virgins, to whom God entrusted Jesus and
Mary, I implore you by the love whch you did bear them, to preserve me from every defilement of soul and body, that may always
serve them in holiness and purity of love. Amen.
Christ Jesus, I acknowledge You King of the universe. All that has been created has been made for
You. Make full use of Your rights over me. I renew the promises I made in Baptism, when I renounced Satan and all his pomp
and works, and I promise to live a good life and to do al i my power to procure the triump of the rights of God and Your Church.
Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer you my efforts in order to obtain that all hearts may acknowledge your Sacred Royalty, and
that thus the Kigdom of Your peace may be established throughout the universe. Amen.
O Jesus, I pray for Yr faithful and fervent priests; for Your unfaithful and teid priests; for Your
priests laboring at home or abroad in distant mission fields; for Your tempted priests; for Your lonely priests; for Your
young priests; for Your dying priests; for the souls of Your priests in purgatory. But above all I recommend to You the priests
dearest to me; the priest who baptized me; the priests who absolved me from my sins; the priests at whose Masses I assisted
and who gave me Your Body and Blood in Holy Communion; the priests who taught and instructed me; all the priests to whom I
am indebted i any other way. O Jesus, keep them all close to Your heart, and bless them abundantly in time and eternity. Amen.
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick, we turn to You in this time of illness. O dearest
Comforter of the Troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept
this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore
Your servant to health again. above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your holy will and know that whatsoever You do,
You do for the love of us. Amen.
Heavenly Father, You created us in Your own image, and You desire that not even the least mog us should
perish. In Your love for us, You entrusted Your only Son to the holy Virgin Mary. Now, in Your love, protect against the wickedness
of the devil, those little ones to whom You have given the gift of life.
Glory be to the Father, Who by His almighty power and love created me, making me in the image and
likeness of God. Glory be to the Son, Who by His Precious Blood delivered me from hell, and opened for me the gates of heaven.
Glory be to the Holy Spirit, Who has sanctified me in the sacrament of Baptism, and continues to sanctify me by the graces
I receive daily from His bounty. Glory be to the Three Adorable Persons of the Holy Trinity, now and forever. Amen.
Soul of Christ sanctify me; Body of Christ save me; Blood of Christ inebriate me; Water from the side
of Christ wash me; Passion of Christ strengthen me. O good Jesus hear me; Within your wounds hide me; Never permit me to be
separated from You; From the evil one protect me, At the hour of my death call me, And bid me come to you that with Your saints
I may praise You forever. Amen
I believe that You, O Jesus, are in the most Holy Sacrament. I love you and desire you. Come into
my heart. I embrace you. Oh, never leave me. May the burning and most sweet power of your love, O Lord Jesus Christ, I beseech
you, absorb my mind that I may die through love of your love, who were graciously pleased to die through love of my love.
Remember, Heart of Jesus, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and you, O glorious St. Joseph, that no one has
ever had recourse to your protection, or implored your assistance without obtaining relief. Animated with the utmost lively
confidence, I come laden with the weight of my sins, to prostrate myself before you. O Merciful Heart of Jesus, Immaculate
Heart of Mary, and you, O glorious St. Joseph, reject not my prayer and petitions but graciously hear and grant them. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: As it was in the beginning is now,
and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

O Jesus, suffered and died for us; You understand suffering; Teach me to stand suffering as You do;
To bear it in union with You; To offer it with You to atone for my sins, And to bring Your grace to souls in need. Calm fears;
increase my trust. May I gladly accept Your holy will and become more like You in trial. If it be Your will, restore me to

Behold me, my beloved Jesus, weighed down under the burden of my trials and sufferings, I cast myself
at Your feet, that You may renew my strength and my courage, while I rest here in Your presence. Permit me to lay down my
cross in Your Sacred Heart, for only Your infinite goodness can sustain me; only Your love can help me bear my cross; only
Your powerful hand can lighten its weight. O Divine King, Jesus, whse heart s so compassionate to the afflicted, I wish to
live in You, during my life be to me my model and support; At the hour of my death, be my hope and my refuge.

the devil, and help me to walk always as a child of God, my Creator. Angel of God's truth, whose perfect knowledge serves
what is true, protect me from deceits and temptations. Help me to know the truth, and always to live the truth. Angel of God's

of divine love, of sacrificial generosity, of meekness and lowliness of heart. Thank You, my heavenly friend, for your watchfull
care. At the moment of my death, bring me to heaven, where the one true God, Who is light, Truth and Loe, lives and reigns
forever and ever. Amen.
Most Merciful Jesus, lover of souls, I pray to You, by the agony of Your most Sacred Heart, and by
the sorrows of Your Immaculate Mother, to wash in our Most Precious Blood, the sinners of the world who are now in their agony,
and who will die today. Heart of Jesus, once in agony, have mercy on the dying. Amen.
O gentle Heart of Jesus, ever present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for
the poor captive souls in Purgatory, have mercy on them. Be not severe in Your judgments, but let some drops of Your Precious
Blood fall upon the devouring flames. And, Merciful Savior, send Your angels to conduct them to a place of refreshment, light
and peace. Amen.
A. O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You. I detest all my sins because I dread the
loss of heaven and the pains of hell. But most of all because they offended You, my God, Who are all good and deserving of
all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasions of sin. Amen. B.
My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you
whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever
leads me to sin. Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for my sins, In his name, my God, have mercy.
O God, mercy and forgiveness are Yours by nature and by right. Receive our humble petitions. Though
we are bound tightly by the chain of our sins, set us free by the power of Your great mercy. Amen.
My dearest Jesus, I have told all my sins to the best of my ability. I have sincerey tried to make
a good confession and I know that You have forgiven me. Thank You dear Jesus! Your Divine HEart is full of love and mercy
for poor sinners. I love You dear Jesus; You are sogood to me. My loving Savior, I shall try to keep from sin and to love

a firm purpose of amendment. While I contemplate, with great love and tender pity, Your five most precious wounds, pondering
over them within me and calling to mind the words which David, Your prophet, said of You, my Jesus: "They have pierced My
hands and My feet, they have numbered all My bones. Amen.
Lord, I believe in Thee. Lord, let my faith be full and unreserved, and let it penetrate my thought,
my way of judging divine things and human things. Lord, let my faith be joyful and give peace and gladness to my spirit, and
dispose it for prayer with God and conversio with people, so that the inner bliss of its fortunate possession may shine forth
in sacred and secular conversation. Lord, let my faith be humble and not presume to be based on the experience of my thought
and of my feeling; but let it surrender to the testimony of the Holy Spirit, and not have any better guarantee than in docility
to Tradition and to the authority of the the Magisterium of the Holy Church. Amen.
St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares
of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into
hell Satan and the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

mercy and grace upon the world; to give strength to the suffering souls in purgatory in their night of waiting. Stay with
us, to ward off the anger f God from our crowded cities with their dens of vice, their crimes that call to Heaven for vengeance.
Stay with us, to guard the innocent, to sustain the tempted, to raise the fallen, to curb the power of the evil one, to prevent
sin. Stay with us, to comfort the sorrowing, to bless the death-beds, to grant contrition to the dying, to receive into the
arms of Your mercy the thousands that this night must come before with Tour sheep. Secure them against the perils that beset
them. Stay, above all, with the suffering and dying. Grant us a quite night and a perfect end. Be our merciful Shepherd to
the last, that without fear we may appear before You as our Judge.
Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give Your Angels and Saints charge
over those who sleep. Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Jesus Christ. Rest Your ones, Bless Your dying ones, Soothe Your suffering
ones, Pity Your afflicted ones, Shield Your joyous ones, And all for Your love's sake. Amen.

and every delight. Come, Bread of angels, and satisfy the hunger of my soul. Come, glowing Furnace of Charity, and enindle
in my heart the flame of divine love. Come, Light of the World, and enlighten the darkness of my mind. Come, King of Kings,

the infirmities of my body and the weaness of my soul. Come, Good shepherd, my God and my All, and take e to yourself. O most
holy Mother, Mary Immaculate, prepare my heart to receive my Savior.
Dear Lord, help me to remove from my mind every thought or opinion which You would not sanction, every
feeling from my heart which You would not approve. Grant that I may spend the hours of the day galdly working with You according
to Your will. Helpme just for today and be with me in it. In conversations, that they may not be to me occasions of uncharitableness.
In the day's worries and disappointments, that I may be patient with myself and with those around me. In moments of fatigue
and illness, that I may be mindful of others rather tha of myself. n temptations, that I may be generous and loyal, so that
when the day is over I may lay it at Your feet, with its successes which are all Yours, and its failures which are all my own,
and feel that life is real and peaceful, and blessed when spent with You as the Guest of my soul. Amen.
Father of mercies, God of all comfort, herar our prayers for the souls of the faithful departed. Console
them in their sorrowful exile from the kingdom prepared for them from the creation of the world. We make our prayer for them
through Jesus Christ, Your Son, who loved them and delivered Himself up for all of us. Amen.
Lord,We are your people, the sheep of your flock. Heal the sheep who are wounded, Touch the sheep
who are in pain, Clean the sheep who are soiled, Warm the lambs who are cold. Help us to know the Father's love through Jesus
the Shepherd and through His Spirit. Help us to lift up that love, and show it all over this land. Help us to build love on
justice and justice on love. Help us to believe mightily, hope joyfully, love divinely. Renew us that we may renew the face
of the earth. Amen.
Queen of the most Holy Rosary, and tender mother of the people, to fulfill the desires of the Most
Sacred Heart, and the request of the Vicar of your Son on earth, we consecrate ourselves to you, and to your Immaculate Heart,
and recommend to you, all the families of our nation, and of all the world. Please accept our consecration, dearest Mother,
and use us and all families as you wish, to accomplish your designs upon the world. O Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of Heaven
and earth, and of our family, rule over us, together with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, our King. Save us from the spreading
flood of modern paganism, kindle in our hearts and homes, the love of purity, the practice of Christian life, and an ardent
zeal for souls, and for the holiness of family life. We come with confidence to you, O Throne of Grace and Mother of Fair
Love; inflame us with the same divine fire which has inflamed your own Immaculate Heart. Make our hearts and homes your shrine,
and through us make the Heart of Jesus rule and triumph in every family in the world. Amen.
Jesus my Lord, let me strengthen my courage by taking on the courage of all those people who have
been "centurions" for me. Many have faced disasters and hard times with great constancy. The upper hand of evil never turned
them against you. They kept going. Let me be like them, Lord. No matter what the cross, let me never stop declaring you to
be "truly the Son of God, the source of my hope, the reason why i'll never quit on life." Amen.
Jesus, my Lord, let me go to Mary when suffering threatens to overwhelm me. Ask your mother to stay
with me when I am afraid and tempted to surrender. Let me look to Mary as my model for love, as well as my haven of healing.
Make sure I am considerate of other people and notice how they are affected by their suffering. I'm not the only one. I beg
you, Lord,to help me grow in compassion. If I am faaithful to you and close to your blessed mother, those who suffer will
be comforted by my presence...and they will gain courage as I stand beside them, by their cross. Amen.
Jesus, Lord, don't let the fear of death overpower us. And don't let the loss of our loved ones cause
us to doubt your power to "Easter" everybody. Remind us, Lord, that you have the last words over death. You are risen! You
are not "among the dead." Neither are we. We shall live forever in your triumphant love. Amen.
Blessed Monica, mother of St. Augustine, we give thanks to our Father in Heaven Who looked with mercy
upon your tears over your wayward son. His conversion and heroic sanctification were the fruit of your prayers. Dear St. Monica
we now ask you to pray with us for all those sons and daughters that have wandered away from God, and to add your prayers
to those of all mothers who are worried over their children. Pray also for us that, following your example, we may, in the
comany of our children, one day enjoy the eternal vision of our Father in Heaven. Amen.
O most Blessed Virgin Mary, mother of gentleness and mercy, I, an unworthy sinner, fly to you with
sentiments of confidence and love. I beg you who stood close to your most beloved Son as He hung upon the cross, graciously
to remain near me, a miserable sinner, and near all priests who throughout the whole Church will offer Holy Mass this day.
By your gracious favor help me to offer a sacrifice which is worthy and acceptable in sight of the most high and undivided
Trinity, Amen.
O Lord Jesus Christ, grant that now and in the hour of our death we may obtain the favor of Your mercy
through the pleading of the Blessed Virgin Mary,Your Mother whose soul was pierced with a sword of sorrow in the hour of Your
passion. Who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.
Rend your hearts, not your garments, and return to the Lord, your God. For gracious and merciful,
is he, slow to anger, rich in kindness, and relenting in punishment.
Mary, Mother of mercy, watch over all people, that the Cross of Christ may not be emptied of its power,
that man may not stray from the path of good or become blind to sin, but may put his hope ever more fully in God Who is "rich
in mercy." May he carry out the good works prepared by God beforehand and so live completely "for the praise of His glory."
Amen.
Merciful Jesus, during Your life on earth You showed great concern for the sick and the infirm. Have
compassion now on all those who are sick or in pain. Grant them a healing of mind and body and restore their strength and
spirit. Comfort them with the knowledge that we are praying for them, and give them peace with a sense of Your presence. May
they know that in the special way they are united with You, their suffering Christ. May they contribute to the welfare of
the whole People of God by associating themselves freely with Your pasion and death for the salvation of the world. Bless,
too, those who take care of the sick. In their own time of need, bestow on them a hundred fold the blessings they have given
to others. Amen.
O Lord Jesus Christ, in presenting ourselves before Your adorable Face, to ask of You the graces of
which we stand most in need, we beseech You above all, to give us that interior disposition of never refusing at any time
to do what you require of me by Your Holy commandments and Divine inspirations. O Good Jesus, Who has said, "Ask, and you
will receive; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you," give us O Lord, that faith which obtains all
or supply in us what may be deficient. Grant us, by the pure effect of Your charity and for Your eternal glory, the graces
which we need and which we look for from Your infinite mercy. Amen
May this confession of mine, O Lord, through the merits of Thy blessed and ever virgin Mother and
of all Thy saints, be pleasing and acceptable in Thy sight; and if anything is wanting, now or at any other time, in true
contrition or sincerity or the integrity of my confession, do Thou of Thy kind love and mercy, supply what is needed and hold
me more fully and perfectly absolved in heaven. Who lives and reignest, God, forever and ever. Amen.
O my Jesus, forgive us, save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those
who are most in need of Thy mercy.
Ever Immaculate Virgin, Mother of mercy, health of the sick, refuge of sinners, comfort of the afflicted,
you know my wants, my troubles, my sufferings; cast upon me a look of mercy. By appearing in the Grotto of Lourdes, you were
pleased to make it a privileges sanctuary, when you dispense your favors, and already many sufferers have obtained the cure
of their infirmities, both spiritual and corporal. I come, therefore, with unbounded confidence, to implore your maternal
intercession. Obtain O loving Mother, the grant of my requests. I will endeavor to imitate your virtues, that I may one day
share your glory, and bless you in eternity. Amen.
Remember, O most pure Spouse of the Virgin Mary, Saint Joseph, my sweet protector, that no one ever
had recourse to your protection or implored your aid without obtaining relief. Confiding, therefore, in your goodness I come
before you, and humbly suplicate you. Oh, despise not my petitions, foster father of the Redeemer, but graciously receive
them. Amen.
I love thee, most lovable Lady, By the love which I bear thee, I promise ever to serve thee, and to
do as much as I can, that thou be loved by others also. I put all my hopes in thee, all my salvation. Receive me as thy servant
and cover me with the mantle of thy protection, thou the Mother of mercy! Amen.
In order that my life may be one act of perfect love, I offer myself as a holocaust to Thy merciful
love, imploring Thee to consume me unceasingly, and to allow the floods of infinite tenderness gathered up in Thee to overflow
into my soul, so that I may become a martyr of Thy love. O my God! May this martyrdom one day release me from my earthly prison,
after having prepared me to appear before thee, and may my soul take its flight without delay into the eternal embrace of
Thy merciful love! O my Beloved! I desire at every beat of my heart to renew this oblation an infinite number of times, "
till the shadows retire," and everlasting I can tell Thee my love face to face.
Hail, Mother most pure! Hail, Virgin renowned! Hail, Queen with stars As a diadem crown'd! Above all
angels In glory untold, Standing next to the King In a vesture of gold! O Mother of mercy! O Star off the wave! O hope of
the guilty! O light of the grave! Through thee may we come To the haven of rest; And see haven's King In the courts of the
blest. Amen.
Immortal God, holy Lord, Father and Protector of all You have created, we raise our hearts to You
today for those who have passed out of this mortal life. In Your loving mercy, Father of all, be pleased to receive them in
Your heavenly company, and forgive the failings and faults they may have done from human frailty. Your Son, Christ our Savior,
suffered so cruelly that He might deliver them from Purgatory. By His merits may they share in the glory of His victory over
sin and death. For all the faithful who have died we pray, but in particular for those dear to us, parents, relatives and
friends. Nor do we forget all who did good to us while on earth, who helped us by their prayers, sacrifice, and example. We
pray also for any who may have done us harm, and stand in special need of Your forgiveness. May the merits and praayers of
our Virgin Mother, Mary, and those of all Your Angels and Saints, speak for us and assist them now. This we ask in Christ's
name. Amen.
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son
our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died
and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, sitteth at the
right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the
Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the ressurection of the body, and
life everlasting. Amen.
Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord, Lord, hear my voice! If, You O Lord, should mark our guilt,
Lord, who would survive? But with you is found forgiveness: for this we revere you. My soul is waiting for the Lord, more
than watchman for daybreak. Because with the Lord thereis mercy and fullness of redemption, Israel indeed he will redeem from
all its iniquity. Eternal rest grant to them , O Lord, and let perpetual light shine on them. May they rest in peace. Amen.
Most sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, look down upon us, Yours and Yours we wish to be; but
to be more surely united with You, each one of us freely consecrates himself today to Your most Sacred Heart. Many have never
known You; many, too, have rejected You. Have mercy on them all, most merciful Jesus, and draw them all to Your Sacred Heart.
May You be recognized as Savior by all those who still in darkness of disbelief. Draw them into the light and kingdom of God.
Grant, O Lord, to Your Church freedom and immunity from harm; give peace and order to all nations, and make the earth resound
from pole to pole with one cry: Praise to the divine Heart that wrought our salvation; to it be glory and honor forever. Amen.
Merciful Lord, who prayed that there be one flock and one shepherd, I ask the light of faith for those
who are related to me and do not know You in Your Eucharistic Presence. Give them the joy of Your protecting presence. Bring
them into the one fold of which You are the master and Lord. Forgive them their sins and teach them the way of repentance.
In the end bring them into the larger circle of Your family, to God our Father, to Mary our Mother, and to You our beloved
Brother. Amen.
Lord of the harvest, your Word finds a home in our hearts, calls us into community and invites to
generous service of the human family. Bless with courage and spirit your priestly people. called to full participation in
the one Body of Christ. May many choose to respond in public service to your call offered in Jesus' name. Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, take all my freedom, my memory, my understanding, and my will. All that I have
and cherish you have given me. I surrender it all to be guided by your will. Your love and your grace are wealth enough for
me. Give me these, Lord Jesus, and ask for nothing more. Amen.
Grascious God, we are your people embraced by your love. We thank you for your presence with us throughout
all time. As we celebrate the 2000 years since the birth of Jesus...Create us anew. Liberate us from that which keeps us from
you. Enable us to recreate our world and restore justice. Heal us from every form of sin and violence. Transform us to live
your Word more profoundly. Reconcile us so enemies becomes friends. Awaken us to the sacred; nurture our relationships; enliven
our Parishes; reunite our families. Fill us with joy to celebrate the fulness of life. Empower us to be a community of love
growing in your likeness. Amen.
O saving Victim, open wide The gate of Heaven to us below, Our foes press on ev'ry side; Your aid
supply, your strength bestow. To your great name be enless praise, Immortal Godhead, One in Thee; O grant us endless length
of days In our true native land to be. Amen
Beloved Shepherd of Souls! As I tread into the sunset of my life, I grow anxious for the spiritual
welfare of souls who came to know me. It grieves me to think of the offenses they may have committed because of words or deeds
of mine. I have in mind those who were my close responsibility as well as whom I sponsored in Baptism and whose spiritual
condition is no longer known to me. In Your merciful goodness I now plead for the pardon of the souls who because of me have
lost Your favor. Humbly I implore You, let not one of them be lost, but when they leave this world may they find glorious
entry into the Kingdom of Heaven! On behalf of those who may need to atone for offenses I may have caused them to commit,
I offer You any infirmities or sufferings I am to undergo during the remaining years of my life. Dear Shepherd of Souls, grant
them eternal life. Amen.
Almighty God, Who by the love which You have for men, have willed to take our humanity, to live a
life of hard work, to suffer a most cruel Passion, and finally to die on the Cross, I beseech You, by the infinite merits
purchased for us with Your Precious Blood, look mercifully on the suffering which is endured by the holy souls in Purgatory.
Accept, O merciful God, the prayers which I offer for them, and call them to the glory of Heaven. I recommend to You the souls
of my relatives, friends and benefactors, and in a special manner of those to whom I may have been an occasion of sin by my
bad example. Most Holy Virgin, Mother of Mercy, Comforter of the afflicted, intercede for those souls, that, by your powerful
intercession, they may be admitted to enjoy that Kingdom which is prepared for them. Amen.
Lord Jesus, You said, "I have come to set the captives free." We are captive and need your healing
touch. Free us, Lord, from our addictions, so that we will be: ...free from the cares and worries that stifle our happiness;
...free from sins that cling to us, and to which we cling; ...free from all compulsive behavior that prevents us from becoming
what you, Lord, have planned for us. Bring us, loving Savior, to the experience of abundant life which you promised. Amen.
O God, grant me to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom
to know the diffrence. Amen.
Lord Jesus, grant that my spouse and I may have a true and understanding love for each other. Grant
that we may both be filled with faith and trust. Give us the grace to live with each other in peace and harmony. May we always
bear with one another's weakness and grow from each other's failings and grant us patience, kindness, cheerfulness and the
spirit of placing the well-being of one another ahead of itself. May the love that brought us together grow and mature with
each passing year. Bring us both ever closer to You through our love for each other. Let our love grow to perfection. Amen.
Let nothing disturb you, Nothing frighten you. All things are passing. God never changes. Patient
endurance attains all things. Whoever possesses God lacks nothing- God alone is sufficient.
Christ be with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above
me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ where I lie, Christ where I arise, Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks
of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me, Christ in the eye that sees me, Christ in the ear that hears me.
I asked God for strength, that I might achieve; I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health that, I might do great things; I was given sickness, that I might do better things. I asked for riches,
that I might be happy; I was given poverty, that I might be wise. I asked for power to have the praise of others; I was given
weakness, to feel the need for God. I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life; I was given life, that I might enjoy
all things. I receive nothing I asked for - but everything I hoped for. Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayer was answered;
I am, among all people, most richly blessed.
Lord Jesus, teach me to be generous, to serve You as You deserve: to give without counting the cost,
to fight needless of the wounds, to work and not seek for rest, to toil and not seek for reward, save the reward of knowing
I am doing Your will. Amen.
Father, I abandon myself into Your hands; Do with me whatever You will. Wghatever You may do, I thank
You. I am ready for all, I accept all. Let only Your will be done in me, And in all Your creatures. I wish no more than this,
O lord. Into Your hands I commend my spirit; I offer it to You, Lord, and so need to give myself, to surrender myself into
Your hands, Without reserve and with boundless confidence, For You are my Father. Amen.
I am loved by God; I am made by God; I am forgiven by God; I am accepted by God unconditionally; I
am a child of God; I am sustained by God; I am important to God; I am used by God; I am enabled by God; I am destined for
God. Amen.
O Jesus, who on earth commanded and practiced a hidden life, grant that in these our days of pride
and outward display the example of your servant John Neumann may lead us to follow your humble ways. Grant, O Lord, that like
your holy bishop we may do all our works with the pure intention of pleasing You, and let not our deeds be done to win the
favor of others but to give glory to our Father in heaven. WE thank you that our fellow citizen and devoted missionary bishop
is recognized among the saints of Your Church in Heaven, and we beseech You, O Lord, to glorify him on earth by granting the
favors we ask through his intercession. Amen.
O God, Thou art the object of my love, not for the hope of endless joy above, Nor for the fear of
endless pain below which those who love Thee not must undergo. For me and such as me, Thou once didst bear the shameful cross,
the nails, the spear. A thorny crown transpierced Thy sacred brow, what bloody sweat from every member flowed. Such then was
- is - Thy love for me. Such is - and shall be still - my love for Thee. Amen.
Dear God. I spend so much time reliving yesterday or anticipating tomorrow that I lose sight of the
only time that is really mine - the present moment. You give >br> today one moment at a time. That's all I have - all
I ever will have. Give the faith which knows that each moment contains exactly what is best for me. Give the hope which trusts
You enough to forget past failings and future trials. Give the love which makes each moment an anticipation of eternity with
You. We ask this in the name of Jesus who is the same yesterday, today and forever. Amen.
Almighty God, Father of all mercies, we your children kindness to us. We bless You for creating us
and preserving us in life. Above all, we bless you for the bountiful love You have shown the world in sending Your only-begotten
Son, Jesus Christ, that we might not perish but have eternal life. We thank You for the teaching of His Gospel; for the power
of His Cross; for the sacramental signs of His grace in the present life; and for the sure hope of eternal life with Him.
In Jesus' name and for His sake, we ask You, dear Father, send Your Holy Spirit upon us to give us due appreciation of all
Your mercies so that our hearts may truly be thankful. Grant that Your praises may be ever upon our lips and in our lives.
May we give ourselves to Your service in serving others and walk before humbly and gratefully all our days; through Jesus
Christ our Lord. Amen.
Forgive my sins, O Lord, forgive me all my sins, the sins of my age, the sins of my spirit, the sins
of my body, my sins of omission, my serious sins, the sins I remember, the sins I have concealed so long that they are now
hidden from my memory. Forgive me all my sins, O Lord. I am sincerely sorry for them all. I know my sins have wounded your
loving Heart, my Savior. Through Your bitter suffering and death, free me from the power of sin and give me a new heart. O
my Jesus, forget what I have been. O my Lord, Jesus, remember me in Your Kingdom. Amen.
God, our Father, I thank you for the gift of my children and for the privilege and responsibility
of being a parent, for this is my way of holiness. May I regard each of my children as a sacred pledge of Your love and a
beautiful sign of Your confidence in me. Help me to pass on to my children our greatest treasures - faith in Your truths,
hope in Your goodness, love in Your name for all. I entrust my children to Your loving care. Banish from our home any bitterness
or lack of forgiveness. Let us have time, deep concern, and a sense of sacrifice for one another. Teach us never to be ashamed
that we are , in name and in fact, a Catholic family striving to live in the way of Jesus, Who is head of our home. Give us
Your Holy Spirit to unite us throughout this life and let the circle of our family be unbroken in the Kingdom of Your Son
Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
