Kauai is truly a place of incredible beauty, lushness, and serenity. Your jaw will drop in disbelief at
the amazing sights, sounds, and pleasures that abound here on the garden isle. Sun, mountains, surf, rivers, flowers everywhere.
Activities such as snorkeling, hiking, kayaking, biking and surfing right at your doorstep. The house is located on the lush
North Shore, six tenths of a mile from Wainiha Beach, great for strolling and beachcombing. Lumahai Beach, the most photographed
beach in Kauai since Mitzi Gaynor washed that man right out of her hair in South Pacific, is only 2 miles from the house.
Tunnels Beach, with its great view of Makana Mountain(better known as Bali Hai) and certainly one of the most beautiful beach
settings you will find, is only two miles from the house in the other direction. We think it offers one of the easiest and
consistently best snorkeling spots on the island. Ke'e Beach, at the end of the road and the beginning of the spectacular
NaPali coast, is another beach within easy (four miles) reach from the house. Ke'e is always good for swimming (not something
you can say for too many Kauai beaches) and quite good for snorkeling, as well as being a favorite sunset spot.
