Subject: Cackling Goose?

Last week's excitement was of a possilbe Cackling Goose south of Tucson, and the bird stayed long enough for me to see it on the weekend. This Branta goose stayed in the company of a Snow Goose and a Roos' Goose, making for easy size comparisions.

This image shows all three feeding on the limited grass on the edge of one impoundment. I've made a "stack" of the three birds for easier size comparison in this accompanying image.
