This is a supplemental site for my primary image web site, Birds in Nature, which is devoted to showcasing my best photographs of wild birds.

In all my bird photography I am guided by this personal philosophy:

I see birds as part of nature, and want to photograph them as part of nature, and show them as part of nature. A bird removed from its natural environment is somehow incomplete and artificial in my view, so I try to show the habitat and environment that is so much a part of the evolution of that species.

All images on this web site are of free birds photographed in natural habitats as they were encountered in the wild. All images and text are copyright by the maker - any use by others is illegal without written permission of the owner.
