Commentary: I never get tired of looking for and photographing Burrowing Owls, and I can find them in many places in southern and central AZ. This bird is one of nine I found recently along a half-mile stretch of dirt road through agricultural fields about 20 miles south of my home. The shot was taken from a few feet away while using my car as a blind and resting the lens on the window edge with the motor off.
