Commentary: Finding this species in Arizona is a bit of a
challenge; finding one locally that allows close viewing is even
harder. This bird showed up in November and has gradually acclimated
to park visitors. I first thought this bird was a female, but based
on the color of the bill I now think it is an immature male.
