Commentary: My favorite bird photography location in the east
is Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. I liked to drive slowly
along the access road looking for photo opportunities along the
edges.
I prefer this sort of "bird in habitat" image to tight compositions
of just the bird, or just part of the bird. Here the light makes the
grasses glow.
