Commentary: A bird often overlooked because many think it is
rather plain, a close view shows it to have a lot of subtle beauty in
muted tones and interesting contrasts. This isn't a perfect image by
a long shot, but it is the best I've managed so far. Taken at a
popular urban park where the wild birds gradually get acclimated to
people and allow close approach if they think they might get a
handout.
