This was the lovely control room. While the recording space was totally amazing, and they actually had some pretty good mics and

equipment (the console's a Neve 'V'), the maintenance was less than stellar - roughly half the console passed audio, and there was

something wrong with virtually every module on the board. Oh, also the air conditioning was pretty non-functional keeping the

room at a cozy 90 degrees most of the time (did I mention the hotel's equally stellar air conditioning?). Don't ask me what those numbers up on the front wall mean - maybe it's the date of the last maintenance visit on the console...
