Dr. Richard C. Yung has been a dentist in Columbia, South Carolina since 1982. He is a member of American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association, and Greater Columbia Dental Society.

In the office, Dr. Yung enjoys dentistry and cosmetic procedures to give his patients a more healthy and beautiful smile.

Dr. Yung was born and raised in Hong Kong.  After finishing high school, he came to the United States for college.  He obtained A.S. degree from Vincennes University, Vincennes, Indiana in 1974.  He has a B.S. degree and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina in 1976.  He had his dental training at the top ranked School of Dentistry at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and was granted D.D.S. degree in 1980.

Dr. Yung spends family time with his wife Shirley, and his son, Matthew.  He enjoys personal computers and is active in church.
