December 30, 2002 Day 184, 1347.5 hours This picture shows the cables that have been pulled into each wing root for connection to the wings. These include the wingtip strobe light, the navigation/position light, the communications antenna and the navigation antenna. There are redundant antennas in each wing. |

December 31, 2002 Day 185, 1352 hours When all of the cables had been placed, the wiring was completed on the forward side of the firewall. This picture shows the wires bundled and secured. Wiring was also done in the overhead duct for the interior lights and switches. The silver box is the control unit for the wingtip strobes. |

January 1, 2003 Day 186, 1357 hours The trim panels for the doors were formed in place using three layers of fiberglass. These panels will be upholstered and attached to the doors as part of the interior finish work. |

January 2, 2003 Day 187, 1366 hours Now that all of the wiring has been completed aft, the remaining cables emerging at the front of the aircraft need to be routed and connected. At that point, it will be possible to start the engine and begin initial testing of the aircraft systems! |
