I was fortunate to serve on Segundo from 62 to 68 and therefore went  on three WESTPAC's . I cant remember if it was on  the second or third trip ,if we were "in transit" or close to being " on station" that we came to All Stop ,and  had a barbeque  party, using the barbeque pit in the  superstructure forward  of the sail ,and a swim in the middle of the Pacific. on this beautiful ,.warm, sunny day . I think there was some concern regarding sea snakes , but there was no problem . Although this party lasted only  a few hours ,it has remained a fond memory ,and an example of the unique life we were all  fortunate to live while serving on this great boat ..U.S.S. SEGUNDO
