GIVES TRIBUTE TO AL JOLSON & SYBIL JASON!:
The next RICHARD HALPERN'S HOLLYWOOD CAVALCADE will be SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd, 2009, and will be a tribute to the World's Greatest Entertainer, AL JOLSON! I am very please to have as my special celebrity guest, Warner Brothers'
first kid contract player and AL JOLSON'S co-star in the 1936 film "The Singing Kid": Miss
SYBIL JASON who will be celebrating her birthday with us at the club, and prepping for her film
tribute the following evening (11/23) on Turner Calssic Movies (www.TCM.com)! We are all so proud of SYBIL and are delighted that she is getting a well-deserved tribute fromTCM and from US!
My special musical guest performers this month will be:
EVANS & ROGERS ("The Hottest New Act In Vaudeville") and the legendary IAN WHITCOMB!! (We have a special surprise guest on hand too!) This promises to be an
amazing show, and of course I will be there to croon and belt my way through the AL JOLSON and SYBIL JASON songbooks!
