Special People
We have several Internet friends. Two in Israel, Two in England and One from China.
Berlie from Ramat Hasharon near Tel Aviv is married with two kids. Their son, Gidon, was a member of the 2000 Israeli Olympic 4x100 team. He's now married with a daughter, Mia. Daughter Tali is a graphics artist, married and with 2 boys. Berlie’s husband, Sam, is a kind and fun loving ex-Australian. Berlie migrated from South Africa to Israel to find a fairer life. Berlie, like most of my friends on the Net, is a free spirit. She translates Hebrew into English and works with the local Mental Health Association. Berlie and Sam visited us and took a tour with us across Colorado and New Mexico in 1998! Click here to see my Israeli friends and their family: Berlie In March 2000, we visted them and took a breathtaking tour of Israel. Then in 2001 we toured Scotland together. While in Great Britian we met Peter and Merlyn Shepherd. They toured southern Colorado and northern New Mexico with us in October 2006. See Tour of the Southwest.
We also have a friend in mysterious China. Her first name is Qiuting, which means Autumn Beautiful and she is. She is a young lady living in Guiyang City in the Guizhou Province in southwest China. We can chat about anything and she has invited Mina and me to visit some time. She has accepted us as adopted parents. She is single but likes Western guys, especially Italians (got a fascination with Italy!)! Any nice Italian guys out there, drop a line and I'll introduce you!
We also have two other friends that have dropped off the radar. We hope that someday they will reconnect with us. Our Japanese friend, Yayoi visited our family in April and also October 1995. Now we don't know where she is.
